The djay Conversion Utility (DCU) will convert cue points and beatgrids set in Native Instrument's Traktor or Serato DJ to Algoriddim's djay. The utility will generate a file that can be used with all versions of the djay app (both pro and 2) the converted file can be used on both iOS and MacOS.
The utility is a side companion to Rekord Buddy 2 by Next Audio.
Rekord Buddy 2 is required (or a rekordbox.xml file with valid cue points and beatgrids).
There is no user interface other then a dialog box when the utility can't find the rekordbox.xml file in the expected location.
If djay pro for MacOS is installed, DCU can install the converted file in the proper location automatically.
You can chose to create a playlist in iTunes holding all tracks that have converted cue points. This option is very convenient for users of djay on an iOS device. It will take the guess work out of synchronization and make sure the tracks on the iOS device are the ones with converted cue points.

Made a first cut at mapping the XDJ-RR to Djay Pro 2.
Seems to work fairly well, no lighting feedback, unfortunately :mellow:
Mapping notes
  1. The other issue that is tough for me is I have thousands of songs in my library that already have cue points assigned in Algoriddim Djay Pro. Of course they do not show up in Serato DJPro. Are there any utilities out there to convert the Algoriddim Djay Pro cue point meta data into Serato Cue points?

(12) Set/Jump Cue point - Simply tap the Set button anywhere in the song to set a cue point. Tap and hold the Set button to delete an existing cue point. Press Jump to start playing the song from the cue point.
  4. If that's not working, make sure you're using start and end cue points, and not the numbered ones. It may be that you're having issues because of Djay's recent switch from 4 to 8 cue points.

  • Sync and master both mapped
  • Used Master tempo mapped to Key lock
  • Tempo Range not mapped. I couldn't find an Action for this in DJay Pro 2 - does it exist?
  • Shift isn't recognised in DJay Pro 2. You can assign a shift to something else (e.g. the quantize button) and then open up a whole range of other functions

  • No other effects are mapped
