Oct 14, 2019 Install NTFS-3G, it’s are able to read and write to NTFS drivers. By reasons, many mac users want to delete it. Look at the following steps to uninstall and remove NTFS-3G completely from Mac OS X El Capitan, Yosemite, Maverick. First way: It is much more simple to uninstall NTFS-3G by clicking on uninstall NTFS-3G button (System. Hold on Paragon NTFS until it begins to wiggle and shows “X” in top left corner. Click the “X” icon to start uninstall, and Paragon NTFS will be removed instantly. If you download and install Paragon NTFS from the App Store, you can quickly delete this app by this way. Also you will need to delete app residuals afterwards.

| Can't uninstall Hello,
I'm trying to uninstall the ntfs-3g from my mac pro with the new snow lep. I go into the preferences and try and uninstall but i keep getting an error saying: Error(Non-zero exit value: 101
i couldn't seem to get it to work properly. It won't allow my Pro tools 8.0 & Propellerheads Record program to write to the external firewire 800 drive ? I keep getting a write error. I even repaired the drive with chkdsk on my pc but still won't work ? Now i can't even uninstall it.

After entering sudo /System/Library/Filesystems/ntfs-3g.fs/Support/uninstall-ntfs-3g.sh I get 'NTFS-3G not installed... aborting.'
This is unfortunately wrong as it is installed. I looked into the uninstall skript and saw that it test whether a pkg file is in the /Library/Receipts folder which is not anywhere on my harddrive as it was not installed.
I also tried reinstalling and uninstalling afterwards but I still get the same message.
